Education Classroom

In 2010, I created a small classroom for an educational trainer, at Lockheed Martin: Virtual World Labs. I made the room for Ogre3D, so the lights had to be baked in, but it's a small enough room that I didn't have a problem; I definitely wanted to get some sunlight shining through the window though. All models created by myself
(Excluding the side counters, 2 wall posters - cited below)

The Lighting

I used photometric Mental Ray lights to light the space, which was baked into the ceiling, walls, and floor. I then placed a Sun and Sky to shine in from outside, which was baked into the counter top and floor texture.

The Space

Same of the assets are reused from other projects that I had worked on, but many of them were made for this project itself.

The Domes

I added a skydome with trees for a nice vista, I also added a hallway dome outside the door to simulate a hall when walking around the room and you look at the window on the door. The curved shape allows you to get a neat view, as if there were more built onto the room.
