Security Control Room
In 2010 I worked on a security control room environment to be used for a cultural trainer, at Lockheed Martin: Virtual World Labs. All models and textures created by myself. (Excluding the copier, printer, projector light rays, doors, desk lamp, chair model - cited below)
The Realism
I based the environment off of reference images, trying to make it as identical as possible in the timeframe that we had to work on it (1 week). Many of the assets I reused from other projects that I had worked on, focusing more on the room, desks, and layout. I added as many extra details as I could when I had the time, including wires for all computer parts running across the desks.

The Lighting
The current state of the project was to render it in 3dsMax to create a video of the environment, so the lights are all Photometric rendered in Mental Ray. It definitely took some time with a lot of tweaking, but it matches very closely to the original reference.
